Abstract The Plant Production Control Centre created by the present Act shall control and supervise the production of vegetable agricultural products and the quality of such products. It shall also coordinate and exercise control over the fighting of organisms harmful to plant growth (sect. 1). The Centre is placed under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The remaning provisions of this Act deal with internal organization. The Centre shall carry out tasks pursuant to the various laws listed in section 9.
