Abstract

Hunting Protection Areas may be created by two or more owners of adjacent properties for the purpose of co-ordination of wildlife and hunting management, protection of wildlife resources, and to promote hunting interests of the participants. The owners shall form a Hunting Protection Association for the management of the area. The creation of the area shall be communicated to the County Council of the County in which the area lies (sect. 4). Sections 6 and 7 set out conditions for the creation of an area. The association shall decide on what conditions the granting of hunting rights shall be allowed in the area (sect. 8). Sections 14 to 20 set out procedures for the creation of a Hunting Protection Area. The association shall be managed by a Council (sect. 23).
