The number of regional centres and their precise tasks shall be decided by the Council of Ministers (sect. 2). The central institute called "Tapio" shall provide advice to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and other institutions involved in forestry with respect to the economic development of forest resources (sect. 3).
