Act On Waste and on Amendment of Certain Acts

The Act regulates the prevention of waste generation, waste handling, waste management and the establishment of the Recycling Fund. The purpose of waste management shall be as follows: (a) prevent waste generation and restrict its generation in particular by (i) developing technologies saving natural resources; (ii) the manufacture of products which – equally as in final products – increases the quantity of waste as little as possible and decreases the environment pollution as much as possible;
