Abstract The Act sets regulations on the right to practice the veterinary profession in veterinary laboratories and in the Veterinary Health Council. Professionals shall pass the degree examination at the University of Copenhagen and have the obligation to follow ethical and professional duty thereof, managing drug administration and testing of animals for the wellbeing of animals. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may lay down rules that veterinarians must report the results of diagnostic laboratory findings in the investigation of diseases in animals.
