Abstract

This Act, in order to promote harmonious regional development, determines the manner of mutual coordination of the state and municipalities in regional policy planning and implementation of regional development tasks, activities and performance of development tasks in regional development matters and regional policy measures. Municipalities, associations of economic activities, self-governing national communities and non-governmental organizations shall unite in the realization of their development interests and jointly take decisions in accordance with the principle of sustainable, sustainable regional development. The programming period for the implementation of regional policy is the same as the period of each financial perspective of the European Union, as determined by the development strategy of Slovenia and EU legislation.
