The Act shall: ensure the prioritization of energy saving activities; promote cooperation and coordination on the execution of the activities; promote an efficient use of energy through campaigns, market introduction and information; and, promote energy savings and energy efficiency improvements as well as reductions in the emission of greenhouse gases. The Danish Climate and Energy Minister shall promote the realization of cost savings through campaigns, knowledge transfer, deployment and development and dissemination of standardized energy saving products and solutions.
