The Act lays down the grounds and procedures to the observed when allocating funds from the state budget to prevent damages caused by listed animals; to compensate for damages caused by listed animals; to support reindeer husbandry by compensating damages caused by golden eagles to reindeer husbandry; to support the fisheries economy due to the nesting of ospreys.
