In order to preserve the water quality of the Han River basin, the Minister of Environment shall, where deemed necessary, designate the areas as riparian zones and publicly notify thereof, from among the following areas in both sides of the Paldang Lake, the Han River, the Bukhan River, and the Gyeongan Stream.
