Abstract Purpose of this Act is to ensure electricity supply security by creating the conditions for the maintenance of a power reserve between national power production and consumption. The procurement of power reserves should be arranged so that it results in a sample of plant units capable of flexible electricity consumption best suited as power reserve and to implement systems in the most economical and systematic manner for the ultimate protection of the environment.
