This Act enters into force on 1 January 2003.
Abstract

The aim of this Act is to achieve, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community, a high level of environmental protection as a whole and to support authorities in the integrated tool permitting the operation of facilities , and to establish the integrated register of pollution. This Act lays down: (a) obligations of the operators of facilities; (b) the procedure for issuing an integrated permit, (c) integrated register of pollution of the environment, the method of data collection on emissions and transfers of substances registered in the register; (d) conditions to link existing information systems in the field of environmental protection with integrated register of pollution of the environment, (e) competences of public authority related to this Act; (f) the system of information exchange on best available techniques; (g) penalties for violation of obligations established by this Act.
