Abstract This Act lays down information requirements for use of energy and other essential resources by energy-using products or impact of these products on the use of energy, and organization of the control system concerning these information requirements. Provisions of this Act shall apply to energy-using products for which requirements for the drawing up of technical documentation are specified in the acts of the European Commission issued under powers delegated by the European Parliament and the Council. The present Act is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Obligations to provide information on energy-using products or the impact of these products on the consumption of energy and other essential resources (Sec. 2); Monitoring of the duties to provide information on energy consumption and other essential resources by energy-using products (Sec. 3); Fines (Sec. 4); Changes in valid provisions (Sec. 5); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 6).
