Entry into force on 1 January 2001.
Abstract

The Order applies to the security of gas installation, the quality of work on these installations, and the improvement of energy supply through connectivity and transportation methods. The purpose is to ensure competent enterprises operate in this sector and that they are authorized to carry out the work. All forms of gas and water installation above ground level and in buildings shall be operated by authoried companies. Drainage installations and drainage in soil and in floors must be performed by companies holding authorization as a sewer contractor. Approvals of competent enterprises, together with inspection of compliance with regulations, shall be supervised and administered by Danmarks Gasmateriel Prøvning (Danish Governmental Gas Institute).
