The Act enters into force on 1 January 2003.
Abstract

This Act is composed of seven Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); Dock equipment for receiving wastes and load remains from vessels (sect. 2); Plan of management of wastes from vessels (sect. 3); Fees concerning management of wastes from vessels and load remains from vessels (sect. 4); Control compliance with the Act (sect. 5); Changes in valid provisions (sect. 6); Transitional and final provisions (sect. 7). The Act establishes in particular: duties of units managing ports, concerning assuring access to dock equipment for receiving wastes and load remains from vessels; principles of preparing and approving plans of management of wastes from vessels and load remains from vessels; principles of controlling provisions of the Act by marine administration organs; principles of establishing fees concerning costs of maintenance and exploitation of dock equipment for receiving of wastes and load remains from vessels.
