Abstract This Act establishes the rights and obligations of physical persons and legal persons engaged in breeding of livestock, whose purpose is to improve profitability and competitiveness of livestock, and state breeding supervision. This Act does not apply to breeding for experimental and research purposes. The Act is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (art. 1-3), Conditions of breeding (art. 4), Care of breeding (art. 5-7), Election commissions and authorization commissions (art. 8-10), Breeding in populations and holdings (art. 11-17), Breeding of livestock, including conditions of the purchase and sale of breeding animals, semen, ova, embryos and hatching eggs (art. 18-25), State breeding inspection (art. 26), Sanctions (art. 28-29), Common, transitional and final provisions (art. 30-34).
