For the purpose of the present Act the term «neighboring area» means the area of a Eup/Myeon/Dong which includes the land and island located within a five kilometer radius from the location where an electric generator of an electric power plant (excluding electric power plants on multi-purpose dams under the Act on Construction of Dams and Assistance to their Environs, and electric power plants below the facility capacities prescribed by Presidential Decree depending on the types of power generation sources; hereinafter the same shall apply) is already installed or to be installed.
