Abstract

This Act contains provisions on surveillance and of protection of land and sea borders of Finland and the outer boundary of territorial waters and the air space above them. Territorial surveillance aims at to prevention, exposure and investigation territorial offences and territorial violations. In restricted areas established by Government Decree it is prohibited to fish with fishing tackle dragged along the bottom or heavy tackle anchored at the bottom, such as a seine, trawl or large bow net.
