Abstract This Act approves the creation of an entity for pollution control and water resources management in the State of Pernambuco (CPRH). It consists of 20 articles establishing composition, duties and competencies of the aforementioned administration. Its responsibilities lays on environmental sector, such as: pollution control of natural environment (air, soil and water), research, water quality management, etc. With this Act the competencies of ex-administration on pollution control 'CEPCA' are transferred to 'CPRH'.
