Abstract

This Act contains rules relative to experimenting and testing on laboratory animals. The Act sets set out basic principles concerning the treatment of animals subject to testing and experimenting and provides for the approval of use of animals for scientific purposes. There shall be a National Animal Testing and Experimenting Council which shall approve the testing on animals and may issue directions regarding the testing, keeping and treatment of animals, etc.
