Such products shall be healthy, fulfil the quality requirements set out by this Act or Regulations made under it, be processed under adequately hygienic conditions and be provided with satisfactory markings and information. The Act covers the handling, processing and distribution of marine products and also to surveillance of slaughter, processing, distribution and packaging of ocean-ranched, freshwater and aquaculture fish.
