Abstract This Act establishes the legislative framework applicable to maritime navigation. It sets out rights and obligations of individuals and legal entities with respect to sea-going vessels and sea-going recreational ships. The present Act applies to vessels flying the flag of the Slovak Republic and to activities concerning the exploration of marine resources. The Act does not apply to fishing vessels.
