The Directorate shall work on administrative projects in the field of fisheries, and report to the relevant ministries. It shall be responsible for the implementation of the Fisheries Management Act and shall also be responsible for the administration and supervision in accordance with the Act on Salmon and Trout Fishing, the Act on Fish Farming, etc. It shall also be responsible for the collection, processing and publication of information in the field of fisheries, as well as other tasks that will be entrusted to the Directorate by law or a decision of the relevant Ministry.
