Abstract This Act establishes that extravirgin olive oil, virgin olive oil and olive oil can be marketed with a label saying "made in Italy" only if the entire production cycle has taken place within the national territory, any similar saying it is forbidden. On the label, the name extravirgin olive oil, virgin olive oils and olive oil must be clearly legible. It is forbidden the possession, the stocking and selling of extravirgin olive oil, virgin olive oil and olive oil in the establishments intended for the refining of olive oil and oil of olive-residue oil.
