These activities can only be carried out subject to authorisation, which may only be granted to parties who meet the conditions to fish in Iceland's exclusive fishing zone. The Act contains 10 Articles and sets rules on, among other things, whaling by foreign vessels, fishing prohibitions, issues to be disciplined by regulation, supervision and inspection, responsibility of operators of whaling vessels, terms of employment of whalers, etc. Full text Icelandic Website www.althingi.is
