The text consists of 24 articles divided into 6 Parts and 4 Annexes: Introductory Provisions (Part I); Assessment of Constructions, Activities and Technologies (Part II); Assessment of Concepts (Part III); Assessment of Products (Part IV); The Competent Authorities (Part V); Common, Transitional and Final Provisions (Part VI); Constructions, Activities and Technologies Assessed Within the Competence of the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic (Annex No. 1); Constructions, Activities and Technologies Assessed Within the Competence of District Offices (Annex No. 2); Documentation on Environmental Impact Evaluation (Annex No. 3); Statement on Impact Evaluation (Annex No. 4). Constructions, activities and technologies listed in Annexes No. 1 and No. 2 are subject to assessment, even, in certain cases, when they do not reach limit values indicated in those Annexes (art. 2). Particulars of assessment are set out in article 3. Article 5 provides for the obligation of notification of intended construction, activity or technology. Articles 8 to 11 provide for participation of the public. Article 13 sets out the particular conditions of transboundary EIA. Assessment of products shall be carried out in the form of certificates to be regulated by separate legislation (art. 15). Full text English
