Abstract The Act establishes provisions concerning the protection of fish species and rules aimed at the preservation of other aquatic organisms and related ecosystems. The Act also establishes rights and obligations individuals and legal persons in the field of fisheries. The Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) Fundamental provisions; (2) Fishing wards and fishery law; (3) Conditions for fishing; (4) Protection of fishery; (5) Breeding of fishes for commercial purposes; (6) Public administration dealing with fisheries; (7) Penalties; (8) Common, temporary and final provisions.
