Abstract This Act lays down some amendments and addenda to Water Act. In supplemented art. 17a establishes requirements for transport of water for human consumption and transport of water to provide humanitarian aid and assistance in emergencies. Transport of water taken from water bodies located on the territory of the Slovak Republic through the border of the Slovak Republic is possible only for personal use and to provide humanitarian assistance or assistance in emergencies. Transport for personal use is allowed only for drinking purposes in the amount of up to 20 liters per person. The replaced Annex 1 provides the new list of priority substances classified as pollutants and the new list of pollutants which represent a significant risk to the aquatic environment or via the aquatic environment.
