Abstract This Act lays down some amendments to Wastes Act by establishing measures to protect the environment and human health by preventing or reducing the adverse impacts of the generation and management of waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and by reducing overall impacts of resource use and improving the efficiency of such use in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on waste electrical and electronic equipment. Provisions concern product design, separate collection, disposal and transport of collected WEEE, proper treatment and shipments of WEEE (amended art. 37f, 37g, 37h, 37i, 37j, 37k, 37l, 37m, 37n, 37o, 37p, 37q, 37r, 38).
