The Act specifies functions of SBS as the TBT Agreement National Enquiry Point. The TBT agreement requires a National Enquiry Point to provide information about national standards, technical regulations, prescribed assessment requirements (testing, inspection, certification and accreditation), and regulations relates to standards.
