Abstract

An Act to amend the Plant Protection Varieties Act of 11 December 1985 (BGB. I p. 2170). The amendments concern, inter alia, the substitution of article 3 containing the definition of a distinguishable plant variety, of article 4 on the homogeneity of a plant variety, of article 5 concerning the constancy of a plant variety and, finally, of article 6 defining the newness of a plant. Moreover, article 10 on "Effects of protection of plant varieties" is replaced, and an article 10a on "Limits of effects of protection of plant varieties" is inserted. The Act consists of 3 articles and 1 Annex.
