Abstract

This Act extensively amends the Maritime Code. its provisions concern, among other things: the definition of ships; transposal of provisions of the following European Union directives into the Slovenian legislation (including Council Directive 97/70/EC of 11 December 1997 setting up a harmonised safety regime for fishing vessels of 24 metres in length and over); ship registration and documentation; sea pollution; requirements for ships; offences.
