Abstract This Act lays down some amendments and addenda to the Act on the management of waste from extractive industries. In particular, the present Act amends provisions concerning categorization of locations or devices designed to deposit extractive waste in the solid state, liquid state, solution or suspension (art. 4 of the amended Act), management plan prepared for the purposes of minimization, treatment, recovery and disposal of mining waste, taking into account the principle of sustainable development (art. 5), prevention of the deterioration of water and pollution of air and soil.
