Abstract This Act amends provisions concerning legal protection of plant varieties and establishes, in particular, that owners of agricultural land may, for a fee paid to the grower, use material from the harvest as the seeding material of variety protected by exclusive law, if the material was obtained from their own farm and used on the area of that farm. The present Act also specifies cases when the material of variety protected by exclusive law can be used with a fee.
