The Act enters into force 60 days after its publication in the Journal of Laws.
Abstract

The Act establishes that a breeder can apply for exclusive right if the variety is distinct, uniform, stable and new, and its name fulfills the requirements specified in article 9. The exclusive right is not granted if the variety has been submitted for protection or is protected by the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO).
