Abstract The Act partly amends Act No. 879 with regard to the Minister of Environment that shall establish rules on fees for certification of eligibility for data transmission and environmentally sound handling of recyclable industrial waste. Danish exporters trading in electrical or electronic equipment in other EU Member States by means of distance selling, must appoint a representative in the Member State responsible for compliance with the exporter's obligations under the relevant Member State rules with regard to the implementation of the Directive on Waste Electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The appointment of the representative must be done by proxy.
