Abstract This Act amends provisions concerning the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. In particular, the present Act establishes that the National Fund can be used outside the country in cases relating to ecological safety of Poland, if accepted by the Minister of Environment. The National Fund can also be used for supporting organizations, institutions, programs and funds working for objectives of the Climate Convention, and for supporting projects and investments in other countries concerning: (1) limitation or avoiding emissions of greenhouse gases; (2) absorption or sequestration of carbon dioxide; (3) adaptation to climate changes.
