Abstract

The present Act, which is composed of ten articles, amends provisions concerning protection, breeding and fishing in surface inland waters. The protection and restoration of fish species is ensured by rational management of resources, including measures for maintenance, reconstruction or restoration of the appropriate state of these resources and natural relations between their individual elements, according to the principles of sustainable development. It also concerns restoration of feeding and spawning grounds of fish. To accomplish these objectives, the minister competent at fishery may prepare the program of protection and restoration of fish species.
