It contains provisions on tobacco, electronic cigarettes and refill pods, herbal products for smoking, and the use of stimulating substances which in terms of use correspond to smoking but which do not contain tobacco. It does not apply to substances classified as drugs in accordance with the Narcotics Penal Code (1968:64) or to dangerous goods in accordance with the Act (1999:42) on the prohibition of certain dangerous goods, nor does it apply to medicinal products or medical devices covered by the Pharmaceuticals Act (2015: 315) or the Act (1993: 584) on medical devices.
