It also imposes a requirement of proactive disclosure and annual publication of specified information. Proactive disclosure shall be done for, among other things, reports containing the results of surveys, environmental impact assessment reports prepared by the public body. Each public body shall, within its organization, designate an Information Officer. The Act sets out the procedures relating to request for and granting access to information and establishes the Information Commission. Full text English
