Part II regards the granting of the licence to operate a slaughterhouse by the Minister. It specifies also the circumstances which shall determine the suspension or the revocation of the licence. Part II lays down the duties of the licensee, covering hygienic standards as well as the obligation to submit to the Director General of Veterinary Services the reports and information specified under Section 7. Part IV prescribes charges and fees. Part V sets forth the penalties to be applied in case of violation of the conditions of the licence, of the provisions of this Act or any prescription made thereunder. The Director General shall carry out inspections by entering upon any of the premises occupied by a licensed operator so as to check the conditions of such premises or building and facilities therein.
