Part I contains general provisions. Regulation 4 formulates a responsibility of the occupier of an abattoir to ensure compliance with these Regulations, and the duty to take reasonable precaution to prevent the contamination of meat in the abattoir and comply with reasonable directions of authorised officer for the purposes of these Regulations.
