Abstract

These Regulations update the definitions of "ear-tag" and "identify card" and provide that all animals accepted for slaughter must have an ear-tag and identity card. Ear-tag" and “identity card" have the meaning assigned to them under the Abattoirs Act, 1988 (Veterinary Examination) (Amendment) Regulations, 1999 (S.I. No. 327 of 1999).
