Abstract

Section 3 prescribes punishment for anybody who deposits or drops litter in such circumstances as to cause, contribute to, or tend to lead to the defacement of litter of any place in the open air to which the public is permitted to have access without payment, any Crown land, open watercourse, private land, or drain in a private layout. The Sanitary Authority may enforce removal of litter under section 5. Other powers of the Sanitary Authority are set out in section 6. (6 sections)
