Abstract

The Regulation outlines the duties and responsibilities of the local authorities for controlling fishing operation through enforcement of the Fishing Law of Canton Aargau including supervision of compliance with provisions related to fishing methods, fishing equipment and auxiliary equipment, conservation of stocks and stocking, protected areas, as well as species and habitat conservation. The text lays out provision for leasing of state-owned fishing ground, fishing permit, and fishing operation. Part II outlines provisions for species and habitat conservation besides approved construction and technical interventions in the water bodies. The text consists of 21 Articles divided in 2 parts.
