Abstract

This Part of Title 50 provides for the cooperation of the Secretary with any State which establishes and maintains an adequate and active program for the conservation of various endangered and threatened species, consistent with the purposes and policies of the Endangered Species Act of 1973. This Part lays down regulations regarding the criteria for the allocation of funds to various State programs; approval of the Project Agreement for endangered or threatened species projects; and payments, assurances, inspection and audits.
