Abstract

This Subpart of the International Fisheries Regulations lays down packaging and labelling requirements for containers use in importing, exporting, or transporting in interstate commerce of any fish or wildlife (including shellfish). Except as otherwise provided in this subpart, all persons are prohibited from importing, exporting, or transporting in interstate commerce any container or package containing any fish or wildlife (including shellfish) unless each container or package is conspicuously marked on the outside with both the name and address of the shipper and consignee and an accurate list of its contents by species and number of each species. The Subpart specifies alternative labelling requirements.
