Abstract

This Subpart of the International Fisheries Regulations defines the purpose of Part 300 of the Code of Federal Regulations. It also fives definitions for purposes of the part and defines general prohibitions and provides with respect of facilitation of enforcement. The purpose of Part 300 is to implement the fishery conservation and management measures provided for in the international treaties, conventions, or agreements specified in each subpart, as well as certain provisions of the Lacey Act Amendments of 1981.
