This text entered into force on 3 July 2021 (with certain exceptions as specified in article 13).

Abstract

The scope of this Government Decree is regarding the objects and items containing plastic that are distributed in Hungary and the single-use plastic products (as specified in Annex 1 which is part of this publication). The objective of this text is aimed at reducing the consumption of single-use plastic products. Marking, separate collection, issues regarding the percentage of recycling, registration, sanctions, reporting to the European Commission and attention-raising measures are all topics covered in this Decree.
