The Committee, following the recommendation of the Bureau, decided with great satisfaction to delete the Old City of Dubrovnik from the List of World Heritage in Danger. It congratulated the Croatian authorities for the effective measures taken for the preservation and restoration of this World Heritage site. It encouraged the authorities to continue and complete the excellent works of restoration and rehabilitation and to give due consideration to risk preparedness in the future planning and management of the city.
