CoP15) on Ranching and trade in ranched specimens of species transferred from Appendix I to Appendix II and in Resolution Conf. 12.3 (Rev. CoP20) on Permits and certificates needs to be revised in its application to aquatic species; b) consider whether the development of additional guidance, or amendments to relevant resolutions such as Resolution Conf. 11.16 (Rev. CoP15) and Resolution Conf. 12.3 (Rev. CoP20), or a new resolution providing guidance on the ranching of aquatic species would be appropriate; and c) upon review of the outcomes of paragraphs a) and b), propose a new definition of ranching for amendments to relevant resolutions and/or additional guidance or a new resolution on the ranching of aquatic species, as appropriate, for the Standing Committee’s consideration.
